I explore the interplay between color, context, and form, as well as the connection between art and direct social work practice. My artwork is inspired by my history, culture, intersectional identity, current events, environment, memories and dreams. I am further influenced by vibrant colors, relationships, ritualistic practices, movement, and harmony. To express the full scope of my vision, I primarily work with acrylic paint, oil paint, watercolor, oil pastels, pens, pencils, and found objects.
